As many of you learned last night, The Walking Dead ended its seventh season in the most historic of ways. The communities rallied together, the Saviors were chased away, and the memory of Glenn became the cornerstone of the new world.
There were some down points too, as everyone had to say goodbye to one of the most beloved characters on the show, Sasha.
Through all of the feelings, fans were erupting on Twitter during the episode – but they weren’t the only ones.
Many of the show’s stars had plenty to say, and some of their comments brought tears to many eyes.

Echoing the thoughts of every fan watching, Tom Payne thought that this finale was one of a kind. However, the actor is now looking forward to next season.
When season eight debuts in the fall, it will be the show’sย 100th episode.

Michael Cudlitz
Abraham came back in last night’s finale, and it was one of the most touching scenes of the season. Fans got to witness Sasha and Abe’s last moments together, and it was as beautiful as you’d hope.
With Sashaย passing, Cudlitzย threw up one final peace sign on Twitter to say goodbye to the beloved character.

Chander Riggs
Now that Carl was finally back in the action, Chandler Riggs was lighting up Twitter. The young star was live-tweeting through most of the episode, but there were definitely a few highlights.

Lauren Cohan
Maggie has finally become the leader of Hilltop, as the people followed her into battle last night. As the episode ended, she stood alongside the other two leaders – Rick and Ezekiel – as their equal.
While Lauren Cohanย didn’t want to spoil the episode for fans who hadn’t seen it, she wanted to make her feelings known online.

Steven Yeun
Everybody misses Glenn, but his legacy has never been as important as it was last night. As the episode came to a close, Maggie gave an epic speech about how Glenn’s actions are what truly made the group a family.
