Fear The Walking Dead: Watch Daniel Salazar's Surprising Return

A fan-favorite character returned to Fear the Walking Dead on Sunday night after going missing from the AMC series in the show's second season. Just before Episode 3x03 (Teotwawki) came to an end, Daniel Salazar showed his face by offering water to the now captive Victor Strand.

Now, AMC has released the clip of Salazar's return and you can watch it above.

If there is any lesson to be learned here, it is not to presume any character is dead until you see a body in the Dead universe. Just ask fans of The Walking Dead who had to deal with Glenn's apparent dumpster dive death only to learn he survived.

"I told you," Salazar said. "I'd be your guardians angel."

As for what Salazar is doing in the Dante-controlled location is still unknown but it might have something to do with his daughter, who hasn't been seen in a considerable amount of time, either.

The last time fans saw Daniel Salazar, the aggressive yet smart character was burning the Abigail Estate to the ground. After discovering a group of infected in a cellar, Salazar appeared to be at peace with ending his own life in favor of reuniting with his beloved Griselda. Using gasoline and a lighter, he took the entire place down but has, apparently, not gone down in the flames.

As noted, Salazar is not the only character on Fear the Walking Dead to have gone missing in its second season.
