Fear The Walking Dead: Danay Garcia Reveals Luciana Will Survive To Season 3

Spoilers for Fear the Walking Dead's Season 2 finale follow.

Fear the Walking Dead rounded out its second season with a breathtaking two-hour finale episode. To conclude the final episode of 2016, several key characters were left in jeopardy. Not only did Victor Strand separate himself from the group, staying behind with an angry group at the hotel, but Nick and Luciana ran into trouble at the U.S. border.

A group of men suddenly unloaded automatic weapons in the direction of the survivors from La Colonia. The men, dressed in army gear, were not rocking any insignia's or stripes though, so it would appear they are more of a militia than a government organized group.

In any case, the new found foes gunned down the folks from Tijuana and put a bullet in Luciana, leaving her fate unsure heading into the third season.

During After the Dead, ComicBook.com's live after show, Luciana actress Danay Garcia was asked if her newly beloved character was being killed off as we head into the show's third season.

"No, I have to survive!" Garcia insists. "Of course, I'm going to survive! Luciana has to survive."

Of course, this is largely Nick's fault. After Nick decided to get involved with the gangsters of Tijuana, he lead them to La Colonia. After learning that the Narcos would be launching the seize of the community, Nick insists that Alejandro reveal himself as a fraud so that the community would head north of the U.S./Mexico border.

"It is his fault," Garcia says of Nick. "Actually, in between takes, I kept telling Frank [Dillane], 'This is your fault! This is all your fault!' He kept telling me, 'I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I didn't know!' So, she's going to give him something, I'm sure."

Never trust the former drug addict, Luciana!

"We'll just start season 3 with a massive argument between her and Nick," Garcia jokes.

Fear the Walking Dead will return for its third season in 2017, with production set to reason in both the U.S. and Mexico on December. For complete coverage and insider info all season long, follow @BrandonDavisBD on Twitter.
