Fan art is something which surrounded The Walking Dead but sometimes it is so awesome that we have to write about it and share it.

This time, an artist by the name of Barry Jazz Finnegan has created an epic painting of Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon in black and white. Furthering the awesomeness, Finnegan recorded the entire process and put it together in a time lapse video set to a rendition of The Walking Dead's theme song.

At the time of publishing, the video racked up almost 7,000 views.

Finnegan has dabbled with the world of live-action comic book adaptations before. Previously, he has masterfully crafted works of Suicide Squad's Joker, the iconic Star Wars character of Yoda, and Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker from The Dark Knight.

This is a nice way for The Walking Dead fans to spend their time as they wait for the arrival of the season 7 trailer (which I talked to Greg Nicotero about over the weekend) on Friday and the show's return in October.
