Negan Featured In The Walking Dead #162 Preview

The Whisperer War is all set to publish its sixth and final installment in just a few days. Ahead of its release, The Walking Dead artist Charlie Adlard has unveiled a new look at the upcoming book.

In the preview for The Walking Dead #162, Negan is still dealing with the loss of Lucille (the second time he's lost a lady by that name) and electing to stay behind from the group. On the following panels, the Kingdom soldiers rush to open a gate for Eugene who seems to be arriving in a hurry.

Eugene has become one of the most valuable characters in the book, though only the audience realizes it so far. The bullet manufacturer has recently found a way to contact another group which claims to be in Ohio but might ultimately be the new hope for civilization.

In the most recent issue of The Walking Dead comics, Eugene decided he would risk his life to deliver a load of bullets to those who needed them. Based on the preview, it seems safe to say he has arrived safely - at least, for now.
