Sunday’s episode is the sixth of Fear the Walking Dead‘s third season, titled, “Red Dirt”. The official synopsis for the episode reads, “News of incoming danger spreads throughout the community as Madison struggles to keep everyone together. Nick grapples with a hard truth.”

Red Dirt follows the terrifying introduction of Walker and his menacing group on the outskirts of Broke Jaw Ranch. The group believes themselves to have a claim on the Ranch and its land while Jeremiah and the Otto family insists they have legal rights to it. Naturally, the Internet had their reactions to the episode.

UP NEXT: Fear TWD Might Beat TWD To A Major Storyline

Before the Internet’s thoughts, here is what the cast of Fear has to say about their characters’ current situations.

“She’s the one who has the courage make these morally challenged decisions in order to do what’s best for the baby, if you will,” Madison actress Kim Dickens told ComicBook.com. “She’s willing to make brutal decisions and execute them.”

“Madison’s priorities remain keeping her family safe but she’s growing beyond that. Because I think, she’s said it in Season 2, Madison, I don’t want her to survive, I want her to start over. So Madison, you know, beyond keeping her family safe, she wants to rebuild her civilization and make a home for themselves. And that will begin to include other people as well.”

The encounter with Walker was likely only the beginning of a feud brewing on Fear the Walking Dead. The new character insisted Troy and his family abandon Broke Jaw Ranch. Troy, of course, refused. This is likely leading to a showdown between the two groups.

“Am I going to defend [Broke Jaw Ranch]? Yeah,” Jeremiah Otto actor Dayton Callie said. “It’s like you own a house, you going to defend it? Yeah you’re going to defend it. If you can if you’re capable. I’m hoping we’re capable. I got to get the other idiots to believe in it.”

While fan-favorite characters Daniel Salazar and Victor Strand will be absent from Episode 3×06, the stakes at Broke Jaw Ranch will be raised in the aftermath of the first encounter with Travis’ murderers.

Now, for the Internet’s perspective, with updates throughout the episode…

The Clark Kids

Fans tend to show a bit of favoritism towards Alicia Clark, in part because of Alycia Debnam-Carey’s massive and loyal fanbase.

There was, however, a couple of compliments for Nick Clark.

But the fans wants Alicia.ย

Though, they don’t exactly seem to be supporting her new relationship…

At all…

Stay or Go?

When the community learned about the threat from Walker regarding rights to Broke Jaw Ranch, both the characters and fan base were divided about whether not we should all stay on Jeremiah’s land or abandon it.

Many are in favor of hitting the road, right away.

Some are even going as far as siding with Walker and his group.

Either way, everyone agrees that Jeremiah has had enough.

Threats Not Far

Walker and his group made their presence known by lighting fires in every direction around Broke Jaw Ranch. Madison and Jeremiah were not happy to see this, as it resulted in the rest of the community being terrified by the looming threat.

The war is coming.

Jeremiah’s pondering of having a drink or 30 also doesn’t bode well for the community.

None of it bodes well, in fact.

Walker has the upper hand, that’s for sure.

Luciana And Others Ditching

Luciana decided Broke Jaw Ranch would not be the place for her. After a lovely night with her boyfriend Nick, she left a note before sneaking out of the community. Another missing character is only going to frustrate the characters and fans alike!

Either way, the fans don’t support Troy’s talking down to Nick.

Vernon and his family tried to follow Luciana’s lead, prompting Troy to lose his mind of their sudden exit with Broke Jaw Ranch supplies and the community to look on.

Some are reluctant to admit it but see Troy’s side, even if it only requires one eye.

Drunk Jeremiah

With the threat of Walker and others looming over Broke Jaw Ranch, Jeremiah was pushed back to the bottle. Nick entered his own room to find Jeremiah drunk, with a gun and a mostly empty bottle. The pressure of protecting his land and people finally got to him.

He’s definitely going to have to work on this drinking habit if he is going to protect people.

Jeremiah took his anger out on the table he ended up flipping.

With Nick being a former addict, he can relate to Jeremiah. The two are becoming very close.

The Bodies

Madison, Nick, and Jeremiah discovered Vernon, Mike, and the rest of the family which abandoned Broke Jaw Ranch on the outskirts of the community. They were very much dead and reanimated as infected.

Some think Walker’s group is behind such an action.

But many suspect Troy of setting up some sort of propoganda.

Either way, another horse bit the dust.

And, now, it’s Madison’s turn to step up as the leader, beginning with a big lie.
