When does The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere? It's a question every fan of the AMC series needs to know the answer to avoid running the risk of having Negan's kill spoiled for them. So, if you've found yourself asking friends, "When does The Walking Dead come back?" look no further because the answer is simple.

Here is what you need to know:

The Walking Dead Season 7 premieres on October 23 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC, 8 p.m. CT.

Following The Walking Dead's Season 7 premiere, which is ominously titled "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be," AMC will air a Talking Dead special starting at 10:06 p.m. ET and running 90-minutes long. The special, live from the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, will feature Andrew Lincoln, Ross Marquand, Danai Gurira, Steven Yeun, Michael Cudlitz, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Christian Serrators, Josh McDermitt, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, showrunner Scott Gimple and writer/creator Robert Kirkman.

Of course, the Talking Dead special will be hosting by Chris Hardwick.
