How To Kill A Deadite With The Cast Of 'Ash Vs. Evil Dead'

Prepare to go to school, because the cast of Ash vs. Evil Dead is here to show you how to kill a deadite.

In an exclusive clip, the stars of Ash vs. Evil Dead on Starz lay out some of your options when dealing with deadite threats.

"There's many different ways to kill deadites," star Bruce Campbell (Ash Williams) explains. "Chainsaw is really the go-to for Ash."

"You can shoot their heads off," says co-star Dana Elorenzo (Kelly Maxwell).

"You can stab them multiple times," suggests co-star Ray Santiago (Pablo Simon Bolivar).

"An ax will work, but it's a lot of work," adds Campbell. "It's for a younger actor."

For as much fun as it may be to kill deadites, there's a lot of work that goes into making it look good on television.

"It's a big event to deal with a deadite," says executive producer Rob Tapert. "So we deliver a tremendous amount of practical effects. We have dummies. We've got different body parts and they've tubes rigged all through them. They carry blood."

"To create a prosthetic, we'll need to take a body cast," explains prosthetics and makeup designer Roger Murray. "It can be between a five and six-hour process."

Ash vs. Evil Dead Season Two releases on Blu-ray and DVD August 22, 2017. The series will return for a third season on Starz.
