Beavis And Butt-head’s third season isn’t just bringing back the traditional take on the hard-rocking duo; the animated revival has been flipping the script by giving us stories revolving around their future selves. Earlier in season three, Todd made a comeback to torment the older iterations of the titular characters, putting them through the wringer as he ran his plumbing business. In a recent episode, Butt-head and Beavis visit an old “friend,” giving animation enthusiasts a better idea of what said character has been up to since making a previous appearance in the revival.

Warning. If you have yet to see the Beavis And Butt-head revival episode, “Bike,” be forewarned that we’ll be diving into spoiler territory. Earlier in the Mike Judge revival series, the episode titled “Kidney” brought back Stuart as an adult as the “friend” to the destructive pair was more than willing to give one of his organs to an ailing Beavis. In the latest Beavis And Butt-head episode, Butt-head lies to Beavis about who was responsible for trashing his old bicycle. Saying it was Stuart, the pair visit their “friend” at his home where Stuart has built a nice life for himself. This quickly changes thanks to Stuart’s infatuation with the duo.
Stuart Ruins His Life Once Again

Stuart is immediately thrilled to see Butt-head and Beavis, offering them bears despite Beavis wanting nothing more than to take Stuart to task for “destroying” his old bike. During this encounter, we are introduced to Stuart’s wife, Katelyn, as well as getting a brief glimpse of their three sons on the living room wall. Hilariously, Stuart informs Beavis that Butt-head was the one responsible for the destruction of his bike, causing the two to destroy Stuart’s home during their confrontation.
When Stuart and Katelyn take Beavis and Butt-head back to their apartment, Stuart attempts to make amends for the destruction they caused, receiving nothing but disdain in typical Butt-head fashion. While a divorce between Stuart and Katelyn wasn’t confirmed, the strain on their relationship was apparent, especially with Stuart doing everything in his power to forgive his “best friends.” Most likely, we’ll see Stuart return in the future in both the past and future iterations of the characters, considering the impact that he has already had on the series so far.
We here at ComicBook.com have seen the entirety of this revival’s third season, and in our review, we gave the comeback a ‘4 Out Of 5.’ Specifically, we stated that “Beavis and Butt-Head continues its trajectory of being a perfect episodic comedy series with Season 3. Each episode tells its stories, and everything is reset for the main duo by the time the next episode starts. They are cartoons in every sense of the word, but there’s a lot of time and attention paid to make sure that they are still fun to watch after all this time. It’s really just incredible in how they have managed to pull that off this many years in. Beavis and Butt-Head is only really getting started from here.”
