The WWE Suicide Squad

The Suicide Squad roster could just as easily be a stable on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown Live. The team is made up of varying personalities, most if not all residing in the extreme, and they have the skills to back up their crazy.

WWE has been in the movie business for some time now, and it wouldn’t be a far-fetched idea to see the studio make a Suicide Squad of their own. Their roster is rather large, and there are a bevy of choices for each role, so after a bit of digging through their current roster, the lineup finally started taking shape.

Superstars from all parts of the WWE have made the list, and all bring their own special skills and abilities to the team. Though truthfully, this group is as likely to burn the WWE down as it is to protect it, but as long as you know that going in you should be good.

John Cena as Rick Flag

With this sort of group, you need someone of high moral standards to keep everyone honest. Well that, and you know, the bombs in their heads.

Yeah, that’s a downer.

Still, explosives aside, you need an infallible leader, one who the team can get behind despite their most likely hatred of him, and John Cena embodies that to a tee. Even if you don’t like the face that runs the place, you can at least respect his abilities and charisma in the ring, and he inspires some amount of confidence that he’ll get the job done.

Also, that whole “can’t see me thing” should serve him well if things go south.

 

Alexa Bliss as Harley Quinn

Every team needs a firecracker to keep them on their toes. They’ll fall in line most of the time, but on occasion, they are prone to feats of craziness that often throws the enemy off their game as much as their teammates.

Harley Quinn is the Suicide Squad’s resident firecracker, and while she’s unpredictable to be certain, it doesn’t diminish her effectiveness. The same can be said for Alexa Bliss, whose skills in the ring are quite impressive. Her tenacity is unmatched, and she will do whatever is necessary to get the upper hand, even if it’s a bit unorthodox.

Plus, that Twisted Blitz would be even deadlier with a baseball bat involved

 

Xavier Woods as Deadshot

Deadshot is the assassin you want when things require a skilled hand, but in addition to his skills on the field, Deadshot also contains a certain amount of magnetic charisma. Despite his previous love of working alone, he’s much deadlier as part of a group.

Xavier Woods was a singles competitor but didn’t truly shine brightest until his skills got paired with Big E and Kofi Kingston as part of The New Day. Make no mistake about it, though, he is the glue that keeps it all together. Woods is able to analyze a competitor and them in their weakest area, whether that means a physical advantage or a mental one.

He might not use a gun as his weapon of choice, but when all else fails he can always rely on his weapon of choice, Franchesca.

 

Bray Wyatt as Enchantress

While the risks are high, it can’t be argued that having a dark priestess on your side comes in handy sometimes. The same can be said for Bray Wyatt, who uses the dark powers of the ether to his benefit when the situation calls for it.

Both are extremely manipulative when they need to be, and have the ability to call upon your deepest weaknesses and aspirations to get what they want. They’re also smart enough to know that strength lies in numbers, not just power, and often try and recruit others to do their bidding for them. 

It doesn’t hurt that both also have siblings who are even more frightening.

 

Dean Ambrose as Captain Boomerang

Captain Boomerang is, well, a rather raucous fellow who isn’t afraid to get into a fight at a moment’s notice, and has a stiff rule of hit first and ask questions later. Put some boomerangs in Dean Ambrose’s hands and it would be hard to spot the difference between the two.

While boomerangs are his weapon of choice, he is still quite resourceful when working on the fly, a trait he shares with Ambrose in spades. Ambrose loves to use his fists but has shown that chairs, kendo sticks, and even Christmas presents all become lethal in his hands.

They’re as useful in a bar fight as they are in an end of the world scenario, and will benefit just about any team because of it.

 

Asuka as Katana

The quiet ones are oftentimes the deadliest, a trait Asuka and Katana share. They aren’t the most boisterous, and typically don’t go out of their way to command the spotlight, as some of their teammates are more want to do. That said, both are arguably the most lethal members of the team, and are more than capable of single-handedly saving the day.

Asuka doesn’t even need to brandish a weapon, as her stiff kicks and innovative offense are more than enough to take down any opponent. In many ways, Asuka relishes the challenge of conquering an opponent, a trait not unlike Katana’s soul taker, the sword that literally absorbs the soul of its prey.

 

Big Show as Killer Croc

A group can always use a good bruiser, one who is able to take an enormous amount of punishment and has the ability to take on hordes of minions by himself.

Killer Croc is once such bruiser. His tough hide can withstand a substantial amount of damage without slowing him down, and while he might be a bit slower in his movements when he does connect you’ll most assuredly feel it. Big Show is much like him in that regard. as often the way to deal with him in the ring is to gather 5 to 10 other wrestlers to push him out. When half the roster has to gang up on you, you know you have an impact.

Big Show isn’t the quickest in his offense, but when he does connect with that jaw of yours, you’ll be lucky to stay conscious, and just like Croc, Show can take a literal beating from whatever assembly of chairs and ladders you’ve managed to throw at him.

Just never ask him to swim underwater to diffuse a bomb. He’ll just likely sink to the bottom.
