Having Randy Orton join the bizarre Wyatt Family out of nowhere was an interesting change to his character and something that harkens back to how the Ministry of Darkness were corrupting jobbers left and right. With Randy alongside Bray, though, the Wyatt Family has achieved a certain level of being a legitimate threat that they haven't seen since their original debut.

And it seems it's going to continue for a little while longer.

According to NoDQ, it's looking like Randy and Bray are a lock for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship. Talks are going around that their initial plan to have Orton turn on his new family have fallen through and that the chemistry between the two has proven to be palpable. At last week's Survivor Series, Orton saved Bray from a devastating spear from Roman Reigns, which allowed Bray to Sister Abigail him giving Team Blue the victory.

The belief is that Randy and Bray will defeat American Alpha next week on Smackdown Live! and then will face current Smackdown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater and Rhyno at the upcoming TLC event on the WWE Network. Apparently, since Slater and Rhyno are seen as a comedy act, the belts aren't taken seriously and putting them on Orton and Wyatt would help the titles gain more "prestige".

I guess somebody should explain the New Day to them. Slater and Rhyno are incredibly over with the fans, but much like with the inception of the WWE Tag Team Championship which originated in 2002, a quick change up doesn't hurt anybody and nobody can take away the fact you were the first of anything.

Anyways, if Orton and Wyatt win the titles, it would be Wyatt's first-ever WWE title win and Orton's first tag team championship in a decade.
