Ring of Honor is a major wrestling promotion that prides itself at "breeding excellence". After all, it is the company where greats like Daniel Bryan (then Bryan Danielson), CM Punk, Seth Rollins (FKA Tyler Black), and Kevin Owens nee Steen, so they have no problem backing that claim. It was also the proving ground for almost NXT superstars Samoa Joe and Roderick Strong. Hey, it's also where Cedric Alexander came from as well. Anyways, you get the point.

Daily Wrestling News is reporting that WWE is looking to "raid" ROH in early 2017 to beef up their NXT roster since there will probably be a few main roster moves at that time. The top ROH prospect that WWE is most interested in?

The superkick party starters, Nick and Matt Jackson, the Young Bucks.

Right now, the Bucks are considered one of the best tag teams on the planet but also they are heavily promoted across Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling and are acting cornerstones of those companies. They're also part of the Bullet Club and the Elite with Kenny Omega. Taking the Bucks out of that equation would definitely be a blow to those promotions.

In addition, it's been reported that WWE has signed ROH commentator and former ECW World Champion, Steve Corino to work as a trainer at the WWE Performance Center once his deal with ROH is up next month. The plan is that Corino coming into the company will have some pull and get other top ROH talent to sign up as well. ROH might not be able to keep everybody at the beginning of next year, but they'll be sure to keep around who they can. Guys like Dalton Castle, current ROH World Champion Adam Cole, the Briscoes, and ReDragon are certainly able to stick around, but with the Bucks gone, who else would they bring with them if they could?

Could we see the likes Jay Lethal, Mark Briscoe, Will Ferrera, or even Matt Taven coming to a WWE ring soon? Better question: who would you love to see from the ROH roster in a WWE ring?
