The WrestleMania card is set in stone. Despite all of our fantasy booking for matches as far fetched as The Rock taking on Vin Diesel there will be no last minute surprises brought in for a match on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t start looking ahead to the future–to the second season of the WWE when everything begins again on the Monday after ‘Mania.

Regardless of who wins the big matches in Orlando, the WWE always brings in new life after ‘Mania to reinvigorate the WWE Universe and get a big momentum push heading into the summer. Because what good is all of the hype of WrestleMania if the WWE can’t capitalize on it and turn it into Network subscriptions.

To do that, we’re going to need more than just a Randy Orton WWE Championship victory. More than just Brock Lesnar becoming the Universal Champion. We’re going to need new names to come in and shake up the status quo.

There are five names the WWE needs to bring in to make this shake up happen. This list was composed with all realistic considerations in mind. CM Punk is not on it. Sorry, he’s just not coming back anytime soon.

Not all of these are main event players, some are very important cogs that would be perfect additions to either the RAW or Smackdown roster.

Click through the slides to see which one of these 5 superstars you think the WWE needs to hop on the phone with immediately.

5. Drew Galloway

Drew Galloway

Drew Galloway’s career has been quite the mystery. When he first burst on the scene as Drew Mcyntire, he had all the backing of the Boss, Vince McMahon. His actual gimmick was that of “the chosen one.”ย

Vince had big plans for Drew, but they never quite panned out. So much so that he got stuck in possibly the worst faction of all time, the three man band, with Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal. All talented stars in their own rights, but awful together.

After he was released from the WWE he had a great run under his own name in the UK and back in the states where he would capture the TNA World Championship on multiple occasions.ย

Galloway did not refuse his contract when it came up last month and now that he has honed his craft over the past several years, he would be a perfect candidate to come in with the WWEย and join in some sort of European stable with real life pals, Cesaroย and Sheamus.ย

Yes, foreigner stables will always be a thing as long as Vince is taking breaths. It would still be better than a 3 man band reunion tour.ย

4. Kenny Omega

kenny omega

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan paved the way for the Indy wrestler makes it big storyline. The two former WWE Champions brought their hardcore faithful audiences from Ring Of Honor and other promotions around the globe with them to the big stage of the WWE.ย

These days, we’re seeing many of the WWE’s biggest stars have the same background. The Club, Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins and Finn Balorย (just to name a few) have all brought the same resume with them to the WWE.ย

Soon that storyline won’t even register for the WWEย audience. It will be the norm that a beloved “indyย star” gets a shot. But before that happens, the WWEย needs to bring in Kenny Omega.ย

Omega, a member of the still red hot Bullet Club, is coming off what many have referred to as the greatest wrestling match of all time with Osada in New Japan Pro Wrestling.ย

He has the perfect look, attitude and pedigree to be a star in the WWEย andย now is the time to bring him in.

3. Melina

Melina

Mickie James has been a surprisingly perfect addition to WWE’sย new “women’s revolution.” While its never odd to see an older male star brought back in to compete for a title, women usually don’t get the chance once they push into the high 30s. But the addition of James has been a nice bridge from the past to the present.ย

WWEย should capitalize on this by bringing in another former “diva” who deserves to be viewed as a wrestler, and that is none other than former champion, Melina.ย

Melinaย is a three-time WWE Women’s Champion,ย and a two-time WWE Divas Champion. After winning her second WWE Divas Championship, Perez became the first woman in WWE history to become a multiple-time champion with both the Women’s and Divas titles.

While she had retired in 2012, she came back to wrestling in 2015 and is currently the Women’s Champion for Southside Wrestling Entertainment.ย

Melina’s style and amazing in-ring ability would be a perfect fit with the new era of women on either roster. Melina wouldn’t be the only one from her era that needs to come back.ย

So would this next person on the list.ย

2. John Morrison

John Morrison

Till my dying day I will say that this guy should have been the next Shawn Michaels. I don’t know where things went south, but he had everything needed to be a huge WWE superstar, and he was – for a little while.

Morrison, who currently goes by Johnny Mundoย on Lucha Underground, was the winner of Tough Enough III, and whileย in WWEย developmental, adopted the ring name Johnny Nitro and was placed in a tag team with Joey Mercury. The duo won the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship and alongside their manager,ย Melina, the stable was called MNM. MNM was called up to the SmackDownย roster and on their debut match in April 2005, won the WWE Tag Team Championship.

After the stable split, Nitroย won the ECW World Championship and his ring name changed to John Morrison. He also took on a Jim Morrison-esque persona that was a perfect fit for his character. He then formed a partnership with The Miz in late 2007, with the two capturing the WWE Tag Team Championship and the World Tag Team Championship on separate occasions, as well as winning the 2008 Tag Team of the Year Slammy Award. During his tenure with WWE, Morrison was a sporadic world title contender, feuding with the likes of Jeff Hardy, CM Punk and John Cena. He was released from the WWEย in 2011.

Morrison has repeatedly stated how happy he is with his life as an actor and independent wrestling star. He’s been one of the main faces of Luchaย Underground, but I can’t help but feel he’s got more life left in his WWEย career.ย

1. Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey

I don’t know if she can wrestle and I don’t care. Despite her two losses in her last two UFC fights, Ronda Rouseyย is still one of the biggest names in all of sports.ย

Her long time love for the WWEย would translate to a brilliant post-UFCย career in wrestling, and even if it were just for a one off appearance, can you imagine the electricity of seeing Charlotte holding the Women’s Championship in the ring on the Monday after RAW and then to see Ronday Rouseyย walk out to stare her down?ย

Seriously, can you? Because that would be amazing.

Rouseyย is anything but a “diva” and her coming to the WWE would give even more credibility to the incredible athletes of the women’s division.

What names would you like to see make an impact on the WWE’s second season?
