As tumultuous of a year it's been for WWE's Roman Reigns, it's been an even more bizarre year across the aisle over at TNA Wrestling.

In the span of a few months, the wrestling promotion has gone through a couple of ownership problems, financial crises, and major top-tier talent leaving for bluer skies over to the WWE. Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan at one point was the majority owner of the company and named President of the company, but now Anthem Sports leads the way and is looking forward to a long future.

The one problem was the lawsuits that Corgan had filed with TNA and Impact Ventures, TNA's parent companies, but that seems to have been finally resolved. The outcome? Well, Corgan isn't spilling any sort of details just yet to the public.

On Friday the musician and businessman took to his Twitter announcing that his debts have been paid off and it's all been settled.

It looks as though that TNA can put this messy business behind them and move forward under Anthem's umbrella. The next couple of weeks as Corgan delves into what happened should be something interesting to follow. Some say it would be a wise direction to go with one of Corgan's top idea and to rebrand the company from the ground up, including the name.

If wrestling fans thought 2016 was an interesting year for TNA/Impact Wrestling, 2017 should be even crazier. They have a new World Champion with Eddie Edwards and it already feels like a fresh new start. Let's see where Anthem can take them from here.
