In a match deciding the fate the Cruiserweight Championship and the high-stakes of what brand it would go to, it would be The Brian Kendrick that would retain the Cruiserweight Championship, keeping the high-flying action on the Monday Night Raw brand, but it wasn't without controversy.

The two men left it all in the ring, even with Kalisto performing an Exploder to the outside of the ring on Kendrick. It was some of the best wrestling we've seen from the division since it was rekindled earlier this year, with Kendrick having a career renaissance and proving why one of the best in the industry.

However, the match didn't have an exact winner as it was Smackdown's Lone Wolf Baron Corbin who interfered in the match, hitting Kendrick and then bodyslamming Kalisto resulting in a disqualification.

Afterward, General Manager Daniel Bryan confronted Corbin and told him there would be consequences for his actions since he cost them the Cruiserweight Division.

Will Kalisto be allowed a rematch at the champion or will Kendrick seek other opponents?
