WWE Superstar Paige has been off of WWE programming for a little bit now, courtesy of her 30-day suspension from a violation of the wellness policy. While being off of TV isn’t something one strives for, it could be a blessing in disguise, as the superstar was sort of withering on the vine in regards to her character.

Coming back after some time away gives Paige the chance to tweak her character accordingly, and come back with some momentum. Paige’s suspension came right after the RAW and Smackdown draft, so the brand has plenty of new feuds just waiting to be exploited.
Here are our most wanted feuds for the returning performer.
Paige vs Emma
This one is a bit of a wildcard, as it’s not yet known which brand Emma will ultimately land in when she officially returns to action, which should be any day now. If she returns to RAW, though, there would be no better way to let both wrestlers hit the ground running than toย let them work a program together on the main roster.
Fans of both superstar’s work in NXT will know that the two pretty much brought the house down on a regular basis during Paige’s NXT championship days. By the time Paige was on the main roster, though, Emma had been saddled with that Santino’s sidekick gimmick, and it killed any momentum a potential main roster feud would have had.
Since then Emma has established herself as one of the best heels in the company and was hitting her stride on the main roster before she was injured. With a returning babyface Paige, the feud could do wonders for both parties.
Paige vs Nia Jax
Nia Jax is currently decimating local competition and most recently Alicia Fox, but all of this could be a way to bide time until Paige makes her return to the roster.
Paige is always over with the crowd, and as a Babyface she would perfectly compliment the aggressive heel persona that Jax is currently building through squash matches. Their styles would also meld quite well, as Paige’s offense is brutal and rather physical, and Jax can meet her head on.
It would be important in this feud to truly let Paige go it alone, though. She has the potential to be an incredibly popular lone wolf, Austin-like character if WWE will let her, and she could prove that against the likes of Nia Jax.
Bayley
Bayley currently finds herself in the title picture alongside Charlotte and Sasha Banks, but the title is most likely going to stay between Charlotte and Sasha for the foreseeable future, at least until Bayley has had some time on the main roster.
If she does drop out of that feud for a bit, a perfect pairing for her would be a returning heel Paige, who is incensed that this lovable schmuck (her theoretical words, not mine) is getting so over with the fans, and thinks she can come into RAW after a few weeks and be in the title picture.
Bayley is lovable for many reasons, but one of those is her resiliency, and this would allow Paige to really go for it in terms of heel tendencies. No more hiding it or doing it in when no one is looking like her time with PCB, but rather embracing the anger and resentment and letting it fly.
If she’s looking for a sparring partner to prove how great a heel she can be, there are few better than Bayley.
Sasha Banks
When the Charlotte and Sasha Banks feud comes to its conclusion, hopefully with Banks as the title holder, it should provide an opportunity for Paige to step back into contention status.
The two have squared off multiple times in the ring already, but it was never over a title, and Sasha has further cemented her babyface stardom since they had a meaningful program. This would allow a heel Paige to really break Banks down with her rugged offense, especially if she can figure out a way to reverse Sasha’s bank statements into one of her finishers, giving her a way to take away one of Sasha’s deadliest moves.
The angle could be that Paige has used her time away to study Sasha, figuring that she would eventually dethrone Charlotte, and thus sheย prepared for their inevitable battle all this time. Sasha would not only have a physical battle to deal with but a mental one as well.
Alexa Bliss
This last feud would require a bit of work, as Alexa Bliss currently resides on Smackdown Live, and Paige is currently on RAW. Bliss is too important to Smackdown Live as a true heel to let go of, so it would likely be an incoming Emma to RAW that would allow Paige to set up shop at Smackdown Live.
Paige would be a returning babyface in this feud, and against the delightfulย heel methods of Bliss, both superstars could flourish. Paige’s rallying cry “this is my house” would not sit well with Bliss, who has ironed out quite a name for herself in a relatively short time.
In the ring, it would be electric as well, as their approaches to offense are quite different, and it would allow both performers to show off their versatility.
So that’s our top 5 feuds for the returning fan favorite, but if you have any ideas or suggestions make sure to let us know in the comments!
