The ongoing storyline of Emma's return to WWE has been fascinating to watch, mostly because it was another case of WWE meddling with something that really didn't need it. Apparently, Emma felt the same way.
She hinted as much in a recent retweet of WWE's main account. They tweeted a picture of Emma in the "evil Emma" gear she was wearing before she was injured. With spiky shoulder pads, shades, and scowl in tow, Emma seems to approve of the change in direction, retweeting the picture with the caption "That's more like it... 😎 #RAW."
This all comes after reports of dissatisfaction on WWE's part with Emma's transition into the new Emmalina character they were promoting upon her return. It was a much sexier character, but ultimately no one but people backstage really had the chance to see it, as rehearsals reportedly weren't going well. That led to a constant delay, with her finally coming to the ramp at Monday Night RAW and saying that evil Emma was coming back and walking backstage once more.
It's been strange to be sure, but ultimately Emma had built up some solid momentum with the character before getting hurt, and hopefully she'll just pick things up where she left off once she comes back full time.
