WWE fans have been anxiously awaiting the return of Finn Balor ever since he was forced to give up his Universal Championship last year on Monday Night RAW. A shoulder injury required surgery and halted the huge momentum he had built for himself coming out of the WWE draft. Now the time for waiting is over, as the fan favorite finally made his return to the squared circle at WWE Live in Buffalo.
If you were surfing around on social media, you know there were many who were waiting to get a glimpse of the returning star, and fans weren't disappointed. He came out in a match against several other superstars, and as soon as his music hit the audience threw all kinds of love his way. The crowd gave him a great reaction, with many on their feet for his entrance. His reaction once he hits the main stage on Monday Night RAW though will be ten times what he got here.
It's not yet known when that will be, but hopefully sooner than later.
As for tonight, Balor ended up in the ring with Jericho and Sami Zayn in a matchup against a returning Triple H, Samoa Joe, and Kevin Owens. It was quite the star-studded affair, and this also happens to be Triple H's way of shaking off some rust for his upcoming WrestleMania 33 match against hopefully Seith Rollins. As for Balor, he doesn't have a WrestleMania feud lined up at the moment, but WWE will still likely work him into the biggest show of the year somehow.
