It was reported yesterday that WWE Superstar Paige, real name Saraya-Jade Bevis, was suspended for yet another Wellness Policy violation which gives her a second strike with the company and a 60-day suspension.
While her brother and some members of the wrestling community came to her defense with WWE and stated that she was suspended on a medication that was greatly needed and was prescribed by a doctor. That might not be the case.
WWE addressed the situation and said in the New York Times, point blankly, that she failed her wellness test due to an illegal substance.
"Saraya-Jade Bevis tested positive for an illegal substance, not a prescription drug," they commented. "In addition, WWE is providing world-class medical care for her in-ring injury."
Paige had said she has no plans on quitting WWE, despite the rumors and allegations, but with her beau Alberto El Patron (formerly Del Rio) leaving the company instead of serving out his 30-day suspension and having a suspicious physical altercation in Las Vegas, that could all change by the time 2017 rolls around.
