WWE Superstar Paige is getting animated this year, in the crossover movie Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon. The animated film features WWE superstars like Paige, Sheamus, and Undertaker teaming up with the Scooby Squad in a Wacky Races inspired adventure.

"I didn't know I was on the freaking cover, right?!" Paige said excitedly when chatting with Comicbook.com at San Diego Comic-Con. The performer was thrilled to be a part of this project, and didn't know until SDCC that she'd be front-and-center for it. "This was cool. Basically, I get to be myself, obviously, but more exaggerated," she said of the experience. "You have to project a bit more for voiceover. It was a lot of fun. It felt weird at first, as you're in a booth by yourself talking to yourself."

Paige credited the directors for their guidance, saying they were unafraid to tell her if a line delivery "sucked." But it was definitely a different experience than performing live in front of a crowd of 20, 40, or even 100 thousand screaming wrestling fans.

"At Wrestlemania, it was over a hundred thousand people there. Playing to a big crowd, I grew up learning how to adjust to that kind of thing," Paige said. "I didn't learn to do this until I got to the WWE."

Speaking of the WWE, Paige went to Raw in the brand split this month, and is hopeful for more storylines, though she's cautious as "they brought a lot of people up from NXT."

"Raw seemed action-packed already," she said. She's excited that the split means she gets "more opportunities" and "more rest days, too."

When asked what she's looking for this year for Paige in the WWE? "Yeah, the Women's Championship!" she said with a smile. "So please give me that!" she added, laughing. The Women's Championship just changed hands this week, going from Charlotte to rival Sasha Banks, so Paige has her work cut out for her.

WWE Monday Night Raw airs live Monday nights at 8pm on USA. Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon is available now on Digital HD, and hits Blu-ray and DVD on August 9, 2016.
