Guardians Of The Galaxy Receives Two Oscar Nominations

James Gunn's box office hit Guardians of the Galaxy has been nominated for two Academy Awards in technical categories.

The film was nominated for Best Makeup & Hairstyling and Best Visual Effects -- both awards for which it has already been nominated by other awards bodies.

The film currently has a Best Makeup nomination pending at the Critics Choice Awards, and a Best Visual Effects nomination pending at the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA).
