Boyd Holbrook Cast As Main Villain In Hugh Jackman's Final Wolverine Movie

According to Deadline, Narcos star Boyd Holbrook has been cast as the main villain in Hugh Jackman's third and final Wolverine solo film.

The 34-year-old actor is playing a "relentless, calculating and intense head of Security for a global enterprise who is set against Jackman's clawed Wolverine/Logan hero."

The untitled Wolverine movie, which will begin filming next month under the codename "Juarez," is aiming for an R-rating and is scheduled for a March 3rd, 2017 release. The film will be directed by James Mangold (The Wolverine), based on a script written by David James Kelly and Michael Green.

Aside from the Netflix drug cartel drama series, Holbrook is also known for his work in Hatfields & McCoys and starring opposite Elisabeth Moss in the independent film The Free World. He'll next be seen in Fox's Morgan with Kate Mara and Paul Giamatti.
