For all the incredible talent that exists within Marvel Studios wardrobe and design department, it seems Thor actor Chris Hemsworth still wanted to give it the old college try and redesign his costume.

I think we can all agree that this probably won't be the final look they go with for Thor: Ragnarok, but who knows, maybe in phase 4?

Hemsworth released the picture on his Twitter profile saying: "Just redesigned Thor's look #awesome". Personally, my favorite part has to be the bright blonde electrified hair. That would probably intimidate me more than Mjolnir would. It certainly is more revealing than past outfits the actor has worn in Thor and Thor: The Dark World, but isn't too far from a costume that Thor wore at one time in the comics, sans the red cape.

While we're on the subject of costumes, it isn't currently known what look the character will sport in his new film. The costume has been tweaked a bit in each one, with the original having a more armored style, followed by his sleeveless and bulkier number in Avengers. Thor: The Dark World seemed to find a really nice balance of the two, so I'll be interested to see how they switch things up in Thor: Ragnarok.

Now Mark Ruffalo needs to draw his own rendition of Hulk, as the big greenie is going to play a big part in Ragnarok, along with new additions Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, and Karl Urban.

Thor: Ragnarok opens in theatres on November 3rd, 2017.
