Later this week Marvel will unveil the latest development in their ongoing Spider-Man-centric mystery Dead No More, and the comic company is promising big things.

Marvel released a GIF on their Twitter account, which shows a number of Spidey's more popular villains, like the Lizard, Rhino, and the man in the red suit, who still has yet to be fully revealed. It's accompanied by the caption: "Later this week, the Conspiracy revealed. #SpiderMan"

The tagline says "Everything you've been told s wrong. The Conspiracy Revealed". The story comes courtesy of fan-favorite Spider-Man author Dan Slott, and like all of his stories, The Conspiracy will refer to seeds sown in issues past, and typically from a ways back. This is likely the case with his latest as well, but as to what the conspiracy refers to remains a mystery.

We here at ComicBook.Com have a few guesses, one being that it in some way is intertwined with the goings-on over in Captain America: Steve Rodgers #1. Just because it has a lot to do with Spider-Man doesn't mean it is contained to just his book.

Another guess is that Norman Osborn is really the man in red, and is orchestrating the unification of Spidey's rogue's gallery, but it doesn't explain how he is able to resurrect the dead, something he has done a few times now. This could also extend to a return of Silver Sable, who was lost during The Ends of the Earth storyline.

Regardless of if any of these theories pan out, we'll all know more tomorrow. Who knows, maybe this will stretch all the way back to one more day? You never know right?
