The Black Widow definitely isn't some itsy-bitsy spider, that's for sure. With the heroine appearing in Captain America: Civil War, Black Widow continues to stand as one of Marvel's greatest heroes. And, just today, new concept art hit the Internet that gives fans a behind-the-scenes look into how the character's iconic style was reinvented for her latest film role.

Created by Andy Park, the visual artist posted a stunning photo of Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow to Twitter which now has got fans buzzing. The photo, which highlights the heroine's wind-swept hair and gun-toting holsters, displays the heroine's sultry yet deadly stare. Her red black widow logo features prominently against the figure's toned torso, and of course, fans are still loving the addition of Natasha's electrified wrist gauntlets.

In comparing Black Widow's concept art with her appearance in the film, there really isn't much of a difference between the two. Scarlett rocks her character's tactical body suit with as much confidence as an ex-Soviet spy should. So, clearly, Marvel must have recognized Park's good work when they saw it.

Park uploaded the photo with a short message, writing, "& here's the #BlackWidow I concepted for #CaptainAmericaCivilWar #ScarlettJohansson #Marvel #TeamIronMan & #TeamCap." Having worked on other MCU films, Park has a huge art portfolio which features dozens of concept pieces for heroes like Scott Lang, Gamora, and more. Currently, Park's resume lists films such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Ant-Man, and Captain America: Civil War to his credit.

Black Widow, who debuted within the MCU through 2010's Iron Man 2, has become one of the world's most recognizable superheroes with fans having come to rally behind the assassin. Natasha's comic history is rich with countless of nuanced stories which highlight the character's sometimes grey morals, and with social media campaigns springing up calling for a Black Widow standalone film, it's clear that fans can't get enough for the character.
