Justice League Action has thus far only been seen in posters and marketing materials, but at San Diego Comic-Con fans finally got their first look at the heavily anticipated new animated series.

Voice actors Kevin Conroy and Diedrich Bader were on hand to show off the new footage in the form of a highlight reel, which features a variety of Justice League heroes that include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, The Atom, Firestorm, Vixen, and many more. The action features clean lines and stylish effects, and unlike the previous Justice League cartoon, it isn't afraid to mix in some of Batman's rogue's gallery, as both The Joker (again voiced by Mark Hamill) and Mr. Freeze can be seen in the first trailer.

The humor of the previous Justice League series does make a return, with Firestorm filling the vacancy left by The Flash. It immediately won me over as soon as Batman electrified Dex-Starr with a Batarang. He's a mean cat, but I love him.

Each episode will be about 11 minutes long, but so far there is no air date for the series. You can read the official description below.

"Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge."
