Over the past several days, the marketing campaign for Hugh Jackman's third and final Wolverine solo film has kicked off by revealing the film's official title, which is Logan, and by releasing an official poster, the first offical image of Patrick Stewart's as a much older Professor X, and a sample of the script, which provided a taste of just how far director James Mangold pushed the film's R-rating.

Keeping with that marketing strategy, the film's official Instagram account has posted a new, gory image, and it shows a severed arm -- that's still clutching a shotgun -- resting on a dirt ground covered with footprints. I think we can safely assume that some unlucky thug happened to cross paths with Wolverine and made the mistake of upsetting the adamantium-clawed mutant. SNIKT!
