Got plans to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story? Well, then you better get ready to enjoy more than two hours of intergalactic fun. After plenty of speculation, it seems the rumors concerning Rogue One's runtime have been proven true. Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo has essentially confirmed the first Star Wars spin-off film will run for 133 minutes over on Twitter.

The creative executive was asked by a fan on the site whether the 133 minutes runtime was correct, and Hidalgo said that sounded "about right." Back in October, rumors regarding Rogue One's runtime began swirling after an Australian website posted the movie's alleged length.

Of course, fans are not all too surprised by the 133 minute mark showing. The length is in-line with the previous Star Wars films. When the original trilogy debuted, Episodes IV-VI had runtimes of 121, 124, and 131 minutes. The prequel trilogy had slightly longer lengths at 133, 142, and 140 minutes respectively. And, when Episode VII premiered last winter, the blockbuster had a runtime of 135 minutes.

If you have plans to see Rogue One in theaters, then you can plan ahead and buy your tickets beforehand. The film's ticket sales will begin on Monday, November 28.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits US theaters December 16, 2016. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue Onetells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet."

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.
