It always seems like two steps forward and three steps back for Oliver Queen these days, and a new glimpse at the script for an upcoming episode might have revealed the next big setback for Team Arrow.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim shared the cover page of the episode 18 script on Twitter, stating that it has started production. The Sin Eater episode is slated to hit on February 22nd, so there's still some time before this episode's events take place. That's the good news, but the title reads "Disbanded", so there could also be a healthy helping of bad news in regards to the team. Disbanded is written by Rebecca Bellotto and directed by J.J. Makaro.
The team has been in flux all season, with Diggle being out for certain periods of time, Artemis betraying the team, and the loss of Ragman. Curtis and Wild Dog have managed to stick around, though, and the team seems poised to finally get a new Black Canary full time. It would be unfortunate for Olliver's ragtag group to dissolve so quickly, but that definitely might be the case.

As for the newest member, Guggenheim recently spoke to reporters about what this new Canary brings to the team (for however long that might be).
"I think what's interesting to us about Dinah is she kind of offers this fresh perspective to the team," Guggenheim told reporters during a screening of tonight's episode. "In many ways she's kind of acting like our Greek chorus. You know, she comes to the team without the burden of having been trained by Oliver, and without the burden of dealing with all of Oliver's secrets and, you know, in some cases, in previous seasons, lies and mishegas. So she just has a nice clean perspective that isn't so much about where she's living as it is about, sort of what she's been through, and her backstory. But her backstory also is not being someone who was a member of Team Arrow, who comes to the team without the baggage of the past four seasons."
