Warning! Spoilers for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations lie below!
After spending some time in the Hidden Mist Village, Boruto is preparing to bid the city farewell. The anime has followed Naruto’s son and his classmates as they unwittingly brought down a coup against the current Mizukage. Thanks to new synopses, fans know Boruto is about to face his biggest challenge yet when he gets home, and it is all thanks to Hatake Kakashi.
A set of five new synopses for Boruto just dropped in Japan, and the final one confirms the 6th Hokage is about to give all the Academy students a hellish graduation exam. You can check out the summary, via Reddit, of “Graduation Examinations, Begin!!” below:
“Examinations, Begin!! At last, the graduation exams have begun. After the first theory exam has finished, Boruto and his friends challenge the practical abilities exam. The exam involves a 'Bell Taking Test', with the 6th Hokage, Kakashi Hatake, and the Academy’s other teachers as opponents.”
Of course, Naruto fans will be very familiar with the Bell Test. They were introduced to the exam when Kakashi put Team 7 through the trial after they graduated from the Academy. The Jonin wiped the floor with Naruto and Sasuke during the test while Sakura was knocked down with a gory genjutsu.
If you thought Kakashi came up with the test, then you will want to think again. The exam has been passed down through the ages. Hiruzen Sarutobi was the first to use the test when he needed to observe Tsunade, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya’s skills. Minato then carried on the test with his team, and Kakashi inherited the exam when he got his own students.
