During a newly-released interview, Iron Man star Gwyneth Paltrow confirmed one of the most persistent rumors that has been dogging the film for months. We're offering a bit of spoiler space here... Of course, there are only two big rumors, and only one that involves Paltrow, so if you've been paying attention you pretty much know already... The actress, who has said that she's not sure how much longer she can keep playing Pepper Potts in the fan-favorite superhero series, confirmed reports today that she will in fact be donning a suit of armor to help Tony Stark during a key moment in the film.

"I didn't mind wearing the suit at all," she said when asked what it was like suiting up. "I thought it was light and perfectly comfortable and my children thought I was extremely cool. They were here on a day where I was in it, so they were trying it on and when my son saw me in the suit, he had the biggest eyes, so it was definitely worth it."

The source of this information is unclear; CBM is reporting it based on information ostensibly released by Marvel--with Superhero Hype quoting from the same source--but MTV and other outlets are quoting CBM, suggesting that they (like ComicBook.com) haven't seen an official source for this news yet.
