The most fierce woman on the NASCAR circuit will now be teamed with the most powerful heroine in the DC Universe as Danica Patrick will sport a Wonder Woman-themed car for two races prior to the release of the film.
Code 3 Associates, a non-profit specializing in animal rescue and recovery in disaster areas, announced that it will sponsor three Cup Series races with Patrick in conjunction with the One Cure project as well as a fourth, standalone race.
In its press release, Code 3 Associates and One Cure stated that the sponsorship of the No. 10 Ford will take place on May 13 at Kansas Speedway; in the Open all-star preliminary race on May 20 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and Aug. 19 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The Kansas and Charlotte cars will have a Wonder Woman paint scheme promoting the movie in advance of the June 2 premiere.
Patrick is currently No. 30 in driver points after eight races and has a best-finish of No. 17 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
She is also regarded as the most successful woman in the history of open-wheel racing. Patrick won the 2008 Indy Japan 300 and is still the only woman to have a victory in an IndyCar Series. Additionally, her third place in the 2009 Indianapolis 500 is the highest finish on the legendary track by a woman.

The new Wonder Woman movie will flashback to Princess Diana's earlier days living on the island of Themyscira with the Amazons to reveal how she became the hero known as Wonder Woman and left Paradise to defend the world of man.
Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.
