Of all of the evil Batmen, the evil Aquaman Batman might be the most mysterious...until now.

The lone female of the group you do not invite to parties is The Drowned, and evil Batman Aquaman mix that has all of Bruce Wayne's intelligence and seemingly Mera's abilities to control water. Her name might not be Bruce, but it turns out she is a Wayne (via ScreenRant).

This nightmare world envisions a place where the Waynes had a daughter instead of a boy, who would then go on to become that universe's dark knight. Her name is currently unknown, but fans can see her at work in a new preview image from her upcoming one-shot. The preview shows her unleashing a purple flow of water from her mouth, sending a tidal wave over an entire town. Aquaman doesn't have those abilities, so how she got them remains a mystery. They are much closer to Mera's, albeit without the whole "vomiting" thing.

Her name also suggests she has Aquaman's telepathy, though in this case, it would be of the dead things in the water as opposed to those still living.

So, this Batman is a Batwoman, but gender aside, how did she fall in line with Barbatos, and why did she turn on the citizens she wanted to protect? All of these will be revealed in the upcoming The Drowned one-shot, but you can view the new preview image above.
