After the first look of Marvel's The Inhumans debuted yesterday, ABC has taken things one step further. The first teaser trailer for the new series has been released online.
You can watch the video above.
The trailer reportedly debuted on Thursday night ahead of Guardians of the Galaxy. However, not every fan seeing the film would have caught the teaser though. The 30-second promo only ran in IMAX screenings of Guardians.
It may seem odd that a TV show had a trailer run during a blockbuster movie premiere, but it makes way more sense than you think. Remember, while The Inhumans is a TV series, it is debuting in IMAX theaters.
Before the show actually starts airing on ABC, the first two episodes will be released in IMAX theaters across the country.
Check out the official synopsis for The Inhumans below!
"After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself."
Marvel's Inhumans stars Anson Mount (Black Bolt), Serinda Swan (Medusa), Ken Leung (Karnak), Isabelle Cornish (Crystal), Eme Ikwuakor (Gorgon), Iwan Rheon (Maximus), Sonya Balmores (Auran), Mike Moh (Triton), and Ellen Woglom).
Marvel's Inhumans will premiere the first two episodes in IMAX on September 1. The full series will debut on ABC later this fall.
