A new clip from Thor: Ragnarok reveals the moment in which Thor loses his hammer.

The clip, which debuted on Ellen, shows Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) facing off with Hela (Cate Blanchett) on an open field of green.

Hela orders the Asgardians to kneel before their queen. Loki is taken aback and Thor throws Mjolnir at Hela. Hela catches the hammer and, to Thor's shock, destroys it in her hand.

Check out the clip above.

What's interesting is that the moment that Hela destroys the hammer appeared in the first Thor: Ragnarok trailer, but the scene appeared to take place in a city and Loki was not present. It would be interesting to know why the setting was changed and why Loki was added, likely through reshoots and post-production editing.
