It's safe to say that the merchandising titan Funko - best known for its stylized, big-headed Pop! Vinyl series of figures - has been knocking it out of the game in recent weeks. For Star Wars fans, this is particularly true, as the company has unveiled a whole slew of exclusive figures tied with last weekend's Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017, as well as a badass exclusive for their Smuggler's Bounty subscription box.
And now, the company has added yet another character to their ever-growing Star Wars line - one that has been a fan favorite for quite some time.
Funko offered Star Wars fans a pleasant surprise earlier today, when they unveiled the first look at an upcoming Mace Windu Pop! Vinyl figure. The Jedi - and Samuel L. Jackson's portrayal of him - has earned a fondness amongst Star Wars fans, with many considering him to be one of the highlights of the prequel film trilogy. Even Jackson himself wants to revisit the character, recently pitching Windu's return during a video message at SWCO.
The Pop! Vinyl version of Windu, which you can see below, shows the character in a fighting stance, armed with his purple lightsaber. The Pop! will be available exclusively at Walgreens stores, and possibly on their website as well.
If you're looking to get your hands on this Pop! of Mace Windu, he is expected to hit Walgreens shelves in Early May.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the next Lucasfilm movie on the calendar, set to release December 15.
