The Flash Taps Roger Howarth As Iris's Mentor

The CW's The Flash has tapped General Hospital's Roger Howarth for a recurring role the hit DC Comics adaptation.

Deadline reports that Howarth will play Mason Bridge, a character apparently creatd for TV described as "an award-winning reporter from the Central City Picture News. He's assigned to shepherd new employee Iris West (Candice Patton), but their relationship becomes complicated when Bridge begins to investigate Barry's mentor, Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh)."

Howarth previously recurred on the Showtime series Californication starring The X-Files and Twin Peaks alum David Duchovny.
