A week ago, Fear The Walking Dead premiered on AMC to the highest ratings of any series premiere on cable. It marked the beginning of the end.

We met Travis and Madison, a couple of previously married parents, working at a high school, dealing with everyday issues and parenting.

According to episode 2's synopsis, "So Close, Yet So Far," things will pick up not far from where we left off in the Pilot. "As Madison struggles to keep Nick from crippling withdrawal, Travis ventures out to find his son before Los Angeles falls," the synopsis reads.

Just a reminder, episode 1 introduced us to Madison's son, Nick, who is dealing with a hardcore drug addiction. With the apocalypse setting in, he has no choice but to quit cold turkey, but that can be pretty dangerous. We'll see withdrawals unfold as the world falls apart.

On the other hand, Travis has to find his son Chris and ex-wife, Liza. In the Pilot, we caught a glimpse of Chris and his mother Liza, neither of whom seem very eager to see Travis.

Of course, the threat of zombies will also become more present as the show continues, but beware of human behavior as the government collapses! Where there is no law, chaos ensues! Fear The Walking Dead's second episode promises to explore the dangers our new group of survivors will face!

Fear The Walking Dead, "So Close, Yet So Far," airs tonight at 9 PM EDT on AMC.
