Today, Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 26-year-old British actor was presented with the 2,565th star during the ceremony in Los Angeles, California. His star can be located in front of the Dolby Theatre in the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard.

"It's really an incredible honor," Radcliffe said (via Variety). "We (Brits) have a national embarrassment about people saying nice things about us, so I was taken aback at first but then I had a real sense of gratitude. Only about 20% of people who work in film and television end up on the Walk of Fame. It's kind of amazing. I don't know if they remove these things, but no matter how badly I mess up, they can't remove it."

Life after Harry Potter has been pretty good for Radcliffe. He has found steady work, landing roles in The Woman in Black, Horns and is currently promoting his latest film Victor Frankenstein, in which he plays Dr. Frankenstein's sidekick Igor.

In Victor Frankentstein, James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe star in a dynamic and thrilling twist on a legendary tale. Radical scientist Victor Frankenstein(McAvoy) and his equally brilliant protégé Igor Strausman (Radcliffe) share a noble vision of aiding humanity through their groundbreaking research into immortality. But Victor's experiments go too far, and his obsession has horrifying consequences. Only Igor can bring his friend back from the brink of madness and save him from his monstrous creation.

Victor Frankenstein opens Nov. 25.
