Over the summer, Arrow's Stephen Amell was involved in a feud with WWE's Stardust, which culminated in a match at WWE's SummerSlam pay per view. It was announced Sunday that Amell was Nominated for a WWE Slammy Award in the category of Celebrity Moment of the Year.

He took to his Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to talk about the nomination and his desire to win. The Slammy Awards were founded in 1986, and went in a hiatus ten years later, but was revived in 2008.

They are WWE's answer to the Oscar, and are another way for fans to get involved. There was no Celebrity Moment of the Year at last years's ceremony, but the equivalent was RAW Guest Host of the Year, which went to Hugh Jackman.
