In 2017, fans will finally see Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) together on the same screen. In addition to the four main heroes, the producers aren’t switching up the formula that has worked thus far and will be including several supporting characters who’s talents bring everything together.

The Defenders posted an announcement on their Twitter account announcing the return of several fan favorites, including Rachel Taylor, Scott Glenn, and Rosario Dawson. Taylor played Jessica’s best friend Trish Walker on Jessica Jones, while Glenn played Stick, Matt Murdock and Elektra’s mentor/pain in the rear. Dawson has been the most prominent in the Netflix universe, as her character Claire Temple has shown up in all three series thus far, and will likely make another appearance in the forthcoming Iron Fist.

“Old friendships die hard. @_Rachael_Taylor, #ScottGlenn, and @rosariodawson return for The #Defenders”

Clair was last seen heading to Colleen Wing’s self-defense class at the end of Luke Cage, who has already been confirmed for The Defenders (played by Jessica Henwick). In addition to Wing, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss), Malcolm (Eka Darville), Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) will also be making appearances.

Daredevil seasons 1 and 2, Jessica Jones season 1, and Luke Cage season 1 are all available on Netflix. Iron Fist will premiere on March 17, 2017. The Defenders expected later in the year. The Punisher does not have a release date yet.
