It’s a great time to be a Power Rangers fan at the moment, with a successful comic series, numerous tv shows, and an anticipated new film all currently in development. To celebrate that, and the fact that it’s Friday in general, we’ve decided to focus on the stylish work of Fero.

Fero, real name Fernando Peniche, has been working in the comics industry for more than 8 years and has developed a bold and high-powered art style, with vibrant swaths of color injected into his action scenes. His style is a perfect compliment to the Power Rangers, who never shy away from big and bright color palettes.

His actions scenes are flooded with movement and intensity, and that Megazord shot happens to be what many are hoping to see on the big screen when the feature film releases. Just like in the original series, the Green Ranger is the star of the show, though, and is featured in more than a few pieces, all of which are stunning.

Especially good is the Pink and Green piece, which shows Kimberly pulling Tommy from the wreckage of his Dragonzord, which can be seen in the distance. His Dragonzord action scene is no slouch either, and he’s also featured in two different closeup portrait pieces that are part of Fero’s daily sketch routine. The first shows his mid-transformation into the Green Ranger, while the second features him turning into the White Ranger.

If redesigns are your thing, Fero also spotlights each Ranger in a modern redesign. The response to the film’s more alien like suits has been positive, but going this route would not have been a bad call either. As an added bonus, Fero also included a slightly tweaked Lord Zedd, because why not right? You can view these and more in the gallery.

This is only a fraction of Fero’s work, so make sure to check out the rest of his portfolio on his official website and Deviant Art page, where you’ll find more Power Rangers, some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more.
