Green Arrow - It's A Wonderful Life
If you've been keeping up with Arrow recently, you'll know that Oliver recently had a chance to watch one of his favorite Christmas movies, but not in the way he was expecting.
The classic film is about a man getting a chance to see an alternate take of what life would be if he weren't in it, and Oliver had his own version of that in the 100th episode of Arrow. The Dominators revealed to him a different version of his life, one where he never got on the boat that would eventually lead him to become Green Arrow.
As such it holds a special place in his heart, though if you asked Oliver if he would ever go back and change it, well, you probably know what the answer is.
Etrigan The Demon - Gremlins
A couple of things to note here. No. 1, do not throw water on Etrigan, as you will get his favorite cape wet and then he'll be angry. No. 2, if you have made him angry, don't apologize, just run.
While potentially more harmful, Etrigan's list is still one step shorter than that of his annual Christmas favorite Gremlins. Etrigan identifies with that whole "person inside another person" thing, and he also gets upset when Jason Blood eats after midnight, but mostly because of indigestion.
Etrigan is also a big sucker for the adorable Gizmo, and he even wears a Gizmo hat when he's watching.
Damian Wayne - Home Alone
Damian Wayne isn't the best at listening to parental guidance, and it's hard to blame him. The young hero has the skills of an elite assassin and yet he's supposed to listen to someone barking orders at him. That doesn't work for Damian and it certainly didn't work for Kevin McCallister.
Damian Wayne's favorite Christmas tradition is watching Home Alone and Home Alone 2 (back to back of course), and while he enjoys the humor he decidedly gets more amusement out of seeing the absurd amount of pain inflicted upon poor Harry and Marv. Well, not poor really, they are thieves after all.
The really unfortunate part is that after every viewing Alfred has to slip on some hot wheel cars and make sure there aren't broken Christmas ornaments under the window.
Superman - Jingle All The Way
He might be one of the most powerful people on the planet, but that doesn't mean that Superman doesn't have as hard a time as anyone else does finding a Turboman for his son.
In fact, Superman would truly identify with Arnold Schwarzenegger. As a Father, you never want to let down your children, but neither do the other millions of parents looking for the same toy. Swap out Sinbad for Lex Luthor and you have the makings of a feature film really.
Thus it has become a Christmas tradition for Clark, Lois, Jon, and Krypto to sit by the fireplace, eat some Christmas cookies, and enjoy the show.
Batman - Nightmare Before Christmas
You would think that Batman might want a change of pace from the dark and gritty streets of Gotham, but you'd be wrong. His annual Christmas tradition, much to Alfred's dismay mind you, is to stream The Nightmare Before Christmas on the Batcomputer while he keeps abreast of the police chatter.
Never a day off for Batman.
It's not the most comforting night in, but Bruce still loves seeing Jack Skellington take what is basically a Tim Burton version of Gotham and turn it into a makeshift Christmas town. One day Bruce will finally put up those lights in the Batcave, but for now, Jack Skellington will have to suffice.
