Over on the program’s website, a behind-the-scenes video featuring Samurai Jack‘s creative time was uploaded. In the footage, fans can listen to Genndy Tartakovsky and Tyler Bates discuss the show’s cinematic use of sound and music. However, in the footage, fans will be quick to spot a slew of new scenes.

In the video, fans can see footage of Jack looking as weathered as ever during a round of meditation. Later in the video, fans then get a longer look at Jack as he commandeers a souped-up motorbike with spiked wheels during a battle. And, towards, the end, fans are treated to a slew of breathtaking scenery shots before Aku’s new cult of female warriors are seen making their way through a large maze.

You can see the clips for yourself below! And, if you are curious, you can check out the synopsis for season five of Samurai Jack below:

“It’s been 50 years since we saw Samurai Jack and time has not been kind to him. Aku has destroyed every time portal and Jack has stopped aging, a side effect of time travel. It seems he is cursed to just roam the land for all eternity.”

Airing on Adult Swim’s Toonami, Samurai Jack’s comeback had fans hyped last year when the network announced its development. The original series ran for four seasons from 2001 until 2004 and featured the time-traveling samurai prince as he fought against the shape-shifting demon Aku. Following the demon through time, the character assumed the name Jack once he traveled to a dystopian version of Earth to kill Aku before he could unleash unspeakable evil upon the universe.
