After years of waiting, the time has finally come for Samurai Jack fans to reset their DVR [...]
Long Live The Scotsman
Bless the Scotsman. When Samurai Jack was still on air, the show's episodic format was tiring to younger fans, but they would always crack a smile for the thickly accented Scotsman. Dressed in a kilt, the bearded warrior was the total opposite of Jack's chic ways. The Scotsman would revel in his boisterous honors while Jack would follow behind with his easy grace. Even their swordsmanship skills were total opposites, and the difference made their friendship all the more meaningful. So, when Samurai Jack returns, fans hope they'll be able to see the dynamic between the friends yet again.

The folks behind Samurai Jack's return have made it clear that they want children to be able to watch the show. But, of course, there is also the small fact that the series' first audience has now grown up. Children who saw the show are well into adulthood now, so fans want to see a bit more grit and blood added to the series. Samurai Jack has never shied away from complexity, and one way the animated hit could revive its former glory is by reimagining Aku. Sure, fans know the mysterious shape-shifting demon is a bad guy, but audiences have yet to see the baddie go full evil.

If there is one thing fans will remember about Samurai Jack, then it is the show's animation. Cartoon Network had its aesthetic challenged when the ground-breaking series debuted on the network. The classic series housed a wholistic mash-up of anachronistic artwork. With bright colors, blocky frames, and vivid animation, Samurai Jack was an undeniable stunner. And, with today's precise technology at hand, there is no reason for Samurai Jack to slack on its iconic animation style.

Jack has been stuck in the past for nearly 20 years now, so fans would surely like to see the hero head home. When the show first aired, fans watched as the protagonist was thrust into a distant, dystopian future where Aku ruled supreme. Samurai Jack then followed the hero as he fought various enemies on his way to return home. Jack learned by the fourth seasons end that he was destined to return to his time and defeat Aku, but the warrior knew it would come with great time and cost. Now, fans are dying to see what will happen when Jack makes his fated trip home, and they are hoping it happens sooner rather than later. And, of course, fans are just dying to see Jack take back on Aku on his home turf for once and for all.

There's no telling what Adult Swim has planned for Samurai Jack in the coming years. After the show's fifth season airs, the animated classic may quietly retire and leave fans with fond memories. Or, of course, handful of seasons may still be in store. However, fans are still left lingering on the show's original run and are tired of chasing after its storylines. Hopefully, fans will get some sort of closure regarding the first four season of Samurai Jack before the fifth drops any new questions on them.
And, should the fifth season be the last forSamurai Jack, then fans everywhere would be so extremely grateful if resolution was the finale's end goal.
