The new trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming has been released.

The new trailer is significantly darker than the first, which highlighted more of the Spider-Man humor and style than the actual plot.
This trailer takes it in the other direction, giving viewers a much better sense of the goals for the villainous Vulture (Michael Keaton) and the personal conflict that arises between Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
As described by Keaton himself, along with the producer and director of Spider-Man: Homecoming previously, Adrian Toomes is a blue collar worker who runs a salvage company (possibly Damage Control?) that cleans up after major superhero battles. After the events of Captain America: Civil War, a government organization led by white-collar superhero Tony Stark pushes Toomes’ company out, so Toomes becomes the Vulture. Along with his partners, Shocker and the Tinkerer, he begins using the technology his company salvaged to build powerful weapons to sell to criminals.
It seems that Spider-Man has his eyes set on becoming an Avenger. However, having lived that life for years, Iron Man cautions him against it and instead encourages him to be a street-level, “friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.”
In Spider-Man: Homecoming, a young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine โ distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man โ but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
The cast includes Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr. It also includes Jon Favreau, Martin Starr, Kenneth Choi, Michael Mando, Selenis Leyva, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg, Jr., JJ Totah, and Hannibal Buress.
