If there is one thing moviegoers can expect from a Marvel movie, it is some intense action sequences. There are few superhero franchises that can match the MCU’s love of high-octane thrills, and Spider-Man: Homecoming will continue that tradition. The standalone film is slated to debut next month, and fans will be able to see Tom Holland take on plenty of Peter Parker’s stunts. Now, the British actor is revealing which sequence was his favorite to do, and it will give you a mini-heart attack.

Thanks to IGN, fans can now learn how Holland managed to flip the script on one of Spider-Man‘s aerial stunts. In a short interview, the actor admitted the following: “My favorite stunt I had to perform was where I run up this steel beam and stop at the top. I secretly asked out stunt coordinator if I could jump off at the end, and he said yes.”
In the video below, fans can check out a behind-the-scenes look of Holland filming the stunt in question. The star is seen hooked up to wires as he runs up a pile of prop rubble. A large steel beam can be seen sticking out from the debris, and Holland doesn’t hesitate for a second when he jumps off the towering platform. When the actor finishes the stunt, the crew can be heard cheering, and the applause surely helped lessen Holland’s fried nerves by that point.
Based on the video, it looks like the stunt will take place in Spider-Man: Homecoming when Peter goes up against the Vulture. The actor is dressed in Spider-Man’s original costume, and fans have learned from trailers that Peter dons his old suit after Iron Man takes his high-tech costume away as a punishment. Seen without his mask, Peter looks properly beat up in this stunt sequence, and there is a green screen conveniently located in the background. For all fans know, Spider-Man may be running up that beam to escape a fiery explosion.
In the past, Holland has talked about how he enjoyed doing as many stunts as he could for Spider-Man: Homecoming. The actor told press at the New York Film Festival that he did “as many” of the stunts as he was allowed.
“There are some things legally that I couldn’t do,” said Holland. “There were stunt doubles who were all very, very talented guys who really supported me throughout the process,” Holland explained. “Whenever there was a stunt that I didn’t necessarily feel comfortable about, they would step in and show my how to do it, and coach me through the process.”
