Superheroes tend to get new costumes whenever a sequel comes out, and Scott Lang will get in on the trend when Ant-Man and the Wasp premieres next year.

It seems like Scott Lang will get on Hank Pym’s good side in the new movie if the scientist is designing him new Ant-Man suit. No word on if he sets up another elaborate ruse to coax the thief into stealing it yet again.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to continue the heisting heroics of the first movie with Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne getting in on the action. She’ll assume the heroic identity of her mother Janet Van Dyne, the classic Wasp who will be played by Michelle Pfeiffer in the sequel.
There’s no word about the movie’s plot or what would necessitate Scott to get a new costume or why he needs to team up with Hope, though we do know Walton Goggins is playing Sonny Burch and Hannah John-Kamen will be playing the supervillain known as Ghost. The two will play the antagonists in the movies.
It sounds like Scott and Hope will have their hands full in the new movie, having to deal with new enemies while attempting to rescue Janet from the quantum realm. Maybe the new suit will grant Scott some new abilities as he takes on new threats.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is scheduled to premiere in theaters July 6, 2018.
