Whether you love or hate him, Dragon Ball fans can’t deny the power which Broly has. The character may be considered a non-canon warrior in Akira Toriyama’s eye, but there are thousands of fans who still love Broly. The muscle-bound villain is one who could make even Son Goku squirm, and Broly’s legacy still lives on with fans. Dragon Ball Z had several movies dedicated to the character, and Dragon Ball Super plans to pay one hefty homage to Broly with a brand-new female Saiyan. But, if you thought that was all the love Broly was getting, then you better think again.

This summer, Universal Studios Japan is bringing anime back to its park for an action-packed summer event. Titles like Neon Genesis Evangelion will be brought to the park, but it is Dragon Ball Z that’s grabbing attention. The franchise will bring a new Real 4D ride to Universal Studios, and the immersive venture will feature a brand-new story for fans to enjoy. And, in that movie, park goers will be brought face-to-face with Broly God.
That’s right. Goku and Vegeta aren’t so special with their Super Saiyan Blue forms. Broly is now able to power-up just like the heroes and then some.
You can check out the ride’s translated synopsis below:
“You are in the Super Tenkaichi Budokai, the fighting between Z-warriors takes place now! From your floating pod, you are caught in an intense air combat. Suddenly, a terrifying enemy appears before your eyes: ” Broly God ” !! Even Goku in “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan” can do nothing against him … With Goku, with the Kamehameha, can you defeat this enemy !? And who will be the most powerful warriors who will remain until the end?”
During the ride, fans will team up with SSB Goku and Gohan’s Great Saiyaman to take down the new Saiyan god. In the image below, you can get a glimpse of how Broly looks in his godly form. The character still have his greenish-yellow aura, but Broly’s hair looks a bit longer and his physique seems trimmed more so than usual. There’s no red and blue auras indicating his power is sourced the same way Goku’s SSGSS or SSB state is, but the synopsis makes it clear that Broly’s power is greater than the others.
Talk about some power inflation, yikes!
In the past, Dragon Ball Z has brought a Real 4D ride to Universal Studios Japan for a summer event. Last year, the franchise had a ride which pitted attendees against Freeza in one intense CGI martial arts tournament.
