Warning! Spoilers for Dragon Ball Super lie below!

There’s a saying that says two heads are better than one, but the Saiyans have a better one they use. For them, two fighters are better than one, and Dragon Ball made that clear when it first introduced fusions. Now, it looks like Dragon Ball Super is gearing up to introduce a new fusion character, and fans are racking their brains over who it might be.
Earlier today, Animedia shared a slew of new synopses for the anime, and its description of episode 115 piqued plenty of interest (via Herms). You can check out the summary of “Goku vs Kefla! Super Saiyan Blue Defeated?!” below:
“Fighting Universe 7’s son Goku, Universe 6’s Caulifla and Kale use the “Potara” earrings that Kaioshins wear to merge. Facing Goku as “Kefla”, they overwhelm him with stupendous power. Witnessing this, the people from the other universes wonder if they too should use Potara to merge, and begin forming plans…”
Fans already know that Kefla is about to become a pain for Goku after the anime’s most recent episode. Kale and Caulifla chose to fuse with one another using their Kaioshin’s Potara earrings after Goku blasted Caulifla with an intense attack. The two fused into Kefla, and their combined energy was enough to perturb both Vegeta and Jiren. However, the other universes now know they can get away with using the Potara earrings, leaving the show open to some new fusions. And, as you can see below, there are a few likely candidates when it comes to using the jewels:
Dragon Ball Super’s “Universal Survival” saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
Goku and Gohan
When it comes to fusion, Goku is best-known for his combination with Vegeta. The pair fused back in Dragon Ball Z and introduced Vegeto in an attempt to defeat Majin Buu. The fusion was used recently during the ‘Future Trunks’ saga, so fans think the anime may refrain from breaking the fusion out again so soon. Instead, Goku may just fuse with his son Gohan, and the idea is enough to make fans interested.
After all, Goku did originally plan to fuse with Gohan way back in Dragon Ball Z; The younger just couldn’t get ready before he was sucked up by Buu. If the pair fused in Dragon Ball Super, they would create a fighter who could go Super Saiyan Blue, use Ultra Instinct, and even enter a Mystic form. So, to say the hero would be over-powered is a bit of an understatement.
Ribrianne And Rozie
If Dragon Ball Super wants to surprise, then all it has to do is throw some Potara earrings at Universe 2. The team is thought by most fans to be a throwaway one, but the anime has spent an odd amount of time focusing on Ribrianne. The lovely heroine made an impassioned speech about becoming a God of Destruction, so the Kaioshin of Universe 2 may have Ribrianne power-up her form even further by having her fuse with Rozie.
So, yes – the fusion would most definitely have heart eye attacks or some sort.
The Namekians?
For some time now, fans of Dragon Ball Super have championed the idea of the Universe 6 Namekians fusing. The pair have been shown up a bit by Kefla, but that does not mean the two fighters could ignore a direct order to fuse. If Champa demanded, the pair could come together using a Namekian or Potara fusion to create a super warrior who’d give Piccolo a run for his money. Very little attention has been given to the duo as of yet, but audiences are hopeful that Akira Toriyama will mash the fighters together before they get ringed out. So, the Namekian fusion may be the last offense Universe 6 has if Goku knocks Kefla out.
